Home Performance Contractor Conversations

Building Science for Sales Teams
Wednesday, March 14 - Recording Available $15

Join us for conversations with home performance contractors and industry experts on communicating the benefits and business case for home performance.  Our focus during this webinar series is on communicating the value and benefits of whole house home performance.

Home Performance Contractor training tends to focus on building science education and technical certification (e.g., BPI, RESNET).  However, the increase in technical training and certification has not produced a proportional increase in sales or quantity of energy upgrade work performed.  Sales and communication skills and training are a required skill for every team member if a business is to be successful.  The skill for successful sales teams is the ability to communicate technical building science in understandable solutions to clients problems.

The construction industry is changing rapidly.  'Energy efficiency' are no longer just buzzword.  Today’s successful contractors and trades must manage the strategic big picture while staying connected to the jobsite and communicating to clients at the table.  U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has committed substantial resources towards the significant reduction of residential energy waste in homes.
