Home Performance Contractor Conversations
Home Performance Sales Process Improvement
Join us for conversations with home performance contractors and industry experts on communicating the benefits and business case for home performance. Our focus during this webinar series is on communicating the value and benefits of whole house home performance.
The construction industry is changing rapidly. 'Energy efficiency' are no longer just buzzword. Today’s successful contractors and trades must manage the strategic big picture while staying connected to the jobsite and communicating to clients at the table.
U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has committed substantial resources towards the significant reduction of residential energy waste in homes.
DOE is helping to professionalize the industry by documenting ways to perform quality work, establishing a robust accreditation program for training providers, and creating professional certifications that will enable energy upgrade workers to differentiate their skills in the marketplace. DOE's partnership with contractors, trade associations, and state and local programs is making homes more efficient, safe and healthy. DOE's Better Buildings program, for example, has enabled grantees to experiment with a variety of innovative sales approaches for building demand in the private market. When government sponsored programs test market-based strategies and stimulate private sector demand and jumpstart a new market, everyone benefits.
This webinar will provide policy level perspectives on the industry from DOE for home performance contractor sales teams:
•
How home energy upgrade initiatives are strengthening the construction industry
•
Standardization of the home performance industry certifications
•
Creating market opportunities for home energy upgrade contractors
•
Selling and Delivering comfort to homeowners
